Every holiday season you have many gift giving choices. We
thank everyone who shopped locally to give hand-made items to the special people on your list. You not only gave a one-of-a-kind gift but you supported local crafters/artisans and organizations. Friday evening, December 13: 6-8PM and Saturday, December 14: 10am-3pm.
All That Glitters Holiday Shopping (formally "Made In Lakeville") is an annual event with crafters located in one location; Loon Pond Lodge at Ted Williams Camp, 28 Precinct Street, Lakeville. You will hear each year holiday music both days as you shop. Friday evening, you can experience a sip and stroll-like feeling. On Saturday, you will enjoy a holiday family feel with Santa.
In 2019, there were twenty-nine crafters at this special event selling such handmade, one-of-a-kind crafts such as festive greens for your holiday decorating, acrylic paintings, jewelry, cards, photography, stoneware pottery, woven items, honey, beeswax candles knitted items, pastel paintings on trivets, pillows & coasters, colorful turned wooden items, dog and cat items, decoys, doorstops, children's hair bows, handbags, totes, quilts for your kitchen, bath and to hang on a wall, CBD salves, organite items, soaps & balms, resin work of seascapes & sun catchers, variety of wooden signs, among many other items to give as a gift for special someone.
A cash bar was offered to our shopping guests Friday evening to give our visitors a holiday feeling while they shop for themselves or for the special people on their holiday list.
Many visitors took a Selfie with Santa Saturday! Santa also shared goodies!
Some visitors gave themselves a gift of the future with a Tarot, Rune or Angel Reading during their visit. OR gave a reading as a gift to someone special.
During the holidays and all year 'round please remember your local shops and crafters when you shop.
The Arts Council sold 12 scenes of Lakeville in postcard form by 12 Lakeville artists. The Lakeville Library seen here is a print of an original acrylic painting by Stephen Rogan.
